Info Sessions: Berlin Studio Summer 2026 Friday, September 12

Join us for an Education Abroad info session about the Summer 2026 Berlin Studio, led by associate professor of architecture Jason Scroggin. UK students explore community-driven design at Design Futures Forum

Earlier this summer, 10 students and three faculty members from the University of Kentucky College of Design and the Department of Landscape Architecture in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment traveled to New Orleans for Design Futures Forum (DFF) 2025, a yearly national public interest design student leadership forum. 

Bergeron named Associate Dean for Administration

The University of Kentucky College of Design welcomes Emily Bergeron, associate professor in the Department of Historic Preservation, as the College’s Associate Dean for Administration (ADA).

UK interior design studio prepares future designers to build a more accessible world

Interior design decisions, whether intentional or not, impact how people move through the world and can either support or limit access, dignity and belonging. Yet the profession is often misunderstood as surface-level decoration. The In:Access studio in the University of Kentucky College of Design pushes back against that notion, preparing students to become thoughtful, socially responsible designers.

Chugh honored with UK Tau Sigma Delta Silver Medal

Aanya Chugh, assistant professor in the School of Interiors and director of community belonging at the University of Kentucky College of Design, has been awarded the prestigious Silver Medal by the university’s chapter of Tau Sigma Delta, the national honor society for architecture and the allied arts.
