Register for the 2025 Design Career Fair
Student registration is open on Handshake for the 2025 University of Kentucky Design Career Fair, happening 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 in the Gatton Student Center.
The Design Career Fair is free and open to all majors, though tabling employers will be specialized in the following industries:
With more than 60 employers registered, students can expect to interact with a variety of companies including small, single-discipline firms, larger interdisciplinary ones, firms in both the public and private sector, firms from right here in Lexington, KY and firms from across the country. For a full list of registered employers, click here.
All students planning to attend are encouraged to build out their Handshake profile as employers will be able to view student profiles ahead of the fair. For tips on filling out your Handshake profile, click here.
To maximize opportunities with hiring employers, third- and fourth-year students are also encouraged to upload their most recent portfolios to an electronic folder that will be shared with attending companies in advance. Details on how students can upload to the folder will be shared via email closer to the fair.
The Design Career Fair is a collaborative effort between the UK College of Design and the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment's Department of Landscape Architecture. The annual event marks the seventh career fair hosted by the College of Design, and the third hosted in partnership with the Department of Landscape Architecture.
