“Making Sense” exhibition explores perception, process and practice in design

The University of Kentucky invites the public to experience “Making Sense”, an end-of-year showcase highlighting the breadth, creativity and impact of student work across the programs housed within the Gray Design Building. The exhibition opens May 7 in the Gray Design Building and will remain on view through early September.

During their meeting this week, the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees approved School of Interiors professor Patrick Lee Lucas, Ph.D., as the College of Design’s University Research Professor for the 2026-27 academic year in recognition of his distinguished scholarly achievements and contributions to interdisciplinary research.
