The University of Kentucky College of Design’s Lectures, Exhibitions and Publications Committee is offering a dynamic lineup of events for the Fall 2026 semester. Events are free to attend and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

  • Sept. 16: Charlotte Lux, Lux Design Research at 10 a.m. in the David Biagi Forum 
  • Sept. 18-19: Altered States: Art, Ecology and Collective Practice Symposium and Workshop Series, in partnership with the Great Meadows Foundation and The Husk Fund 
  • Sept. 18-Oct. 30- After the Plan: An Exhibition by Clarissa Tossin, in partnership with UK Art Museum, Gray Design Building Gallery 
  • Oct. 3-4: Dry Stone Fencing Workshop with Russell Waddell, Director, Dry Stone Conservancy 
  • Oct. 5: Winka Dubbeldam, founder of Archi-Tectonics and current director of SCI-Arc at 4 p.m. in the David Biagi Forum 
  • Oct. 7-14: First-Year Workshop [s], First Floor of Gray Design Building

  • Nov. 11-February: Big MOdels: An Exhibition by Aaron Jones, artists talk and opening on Nov. 11 from 6-8 p.m. in the Gray Design Building  
  • Nov. 13: Igor Siddiqui, The University of Texas at Austin, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the David Biagi Forum 
  • Nov. 13: Jonas Coersmeier, founding partner of Büro NY, in the David Biagi Forum
