UK student-designed emergency housing finds permanent home

Anyone who has passed the University of Kentucky’s Gray Design Building in the last year may remember the small wooden structure stationed out front. The full-scale, modular emergency housing prototype — created through the UK College of Design’s design-build studio — has occupied the loading dock for more than three semesters.

Spring 2026 Dean's List announced

Congratulations to the College of Design students that made the Dean's List for the Spring 2026 semester. To make a Dean’s List in one of the UK colleges, an undergraduate student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and must have earned 12 credits or more in that semester, excluding credits earned in pass-fail classes.
