The College of Design is offering undergraduate students summer fellowship opportunities funded through the UK Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR).  Working with faculty mentors, undergraduate students may apply for stipends of up to $2,000 to fund their independent summer research proposal.

Am I eligible?

  • All current and returning undergraduate College of Design students are eligible to apply.
  • Previous recipients are not eligible, but encouraged to apply to other university-level research funding.
  • Fellowships are single year awards. You must apply with each cycle to be eligible for consideration.
  • Priority will be given to student research that aligns with the UK Research Priority Areas.
  • Students may be offered multiple summer research awards but can only receive one summer research award from the UK Office of Undergraduate Research (e.g. Summer Sustainability Fellowships, CURE Fellowship, CoD Research Fellowship).

  3. Create a Budget | Download Budget Form
  4. Fill out the application and upload associated documents.
