Conjure 2025 Lexington Camera Club Photo Biennial

Join us for Conjure, the Lexington Camera Club's 2025 photo biennial exhibit. With 35 members exhibiting their work, the show will be on display in the GDB gallery and east corridor through October 17. The biennial will also be a part of the LexArts Gallery Hop on September 19 from 6-9 p.m.

Design Lecture Series Mallory Hall

Hear from UK alum and Herschend Creative Director Mallory Hall as she discusses how experiential design blends design, arts, hospitality and marketing to create immersive destinations from theme parks to aquariums, offering creativity and diverse career opportunities. Come early for a workshop at 10:00 a.m. in which Mallory will lead participants through an activity to design an amusement park ride car. Learn more about Mallory.

Managing Mass Timber Exhibition & Seminars

The College of Design, in partnership with the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the Pigman College of Engineering, invites you to attend Managing Mass Timber: From Forest to Future. The multi-day event includes an interactive exhibit that will be on display in the Gray Design Building October 6-8, as well as a series of educational seminars October 6 and 7, led by Anthony Mirando, Ph.D., and Lameck Onsarigo, Ph.D., of Kent State University.

Interiors faculty, grad student selected for IDEC Virtual Symposium

University of Kentucky School of Interiors faculty members, as well as an interiors graduate student, were selected to present their research at the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) Virtual Symposium on Oct. 30-31.

UK students explore community-driven design at Design Futures Forum

Earlier this summer, 10 students and three faculty members from the University of Kentucky College of Design and the Department of Landscape Architecture in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment traveled to New Orleans for Design Futures Forum (DFF) 2025, a yearly national public interest design student leadership forum.
