Jennifer Meakins

Assistant Professor

Jennifer Meakins is Assistant Professor in the School of Interiors at the University of Kentucky. She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies from Colgate University. Her work investigates the relationship between interior design, craft, and gender roles through creative practice and education. Specific areas of interest include analog and digital craft methods, material exploration, and the crafting of inclusive and equitable spaces. Jennifer is a co-founder of design studio MAKE.
