Erin Alford

Lecturer

Erin Alford is an Assistant Professor in the School of Interiors in The University of Kentucky’s College of Design. She is an NCIDQ certified designer with a professional background in commercial design. She received a Master of Science in Interior Design from Ball State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Mississippi State University.

In her role, she brings almost ten years of professional practice experience into the classroom as well as digital design communication techniques. Her research background includes lighting design for K-12 classrooms as well as the implementation of BIM software into design curriculum.
