Bethany Womack, MA.Ed.

Academic Advisor

Bethany Womack is an Academic Advisor in the University of Kentucky's College of Design. She has a professional background in public education and student affairs. She received her Master of Art in Education in School Counseling (K-12) from the University of the Cumberlands and her Bachelor of Art in Secondary English Education (8-12) from Eastern Kentucky University. Additionally, she is currently a doctoral student in Studies in Higher Education here at the University of Kentucky. Bethany plans to research support systems offered to college students and the efficiency and effectiveness of those systems for different demographics of students. Through advising in the College of Design, she hopes to provide students with a safe place to land, supporting them both academically and personally. 

Outside of work, Bethany loves seeing movies, going to concerts, playing with her dog, Kiwi, and going on adventures with her husband. Bethany hopes students in the College of Design know that she is here for them, whether it's for scheduling help, resource connection or just a friendly chat.
