Studio 38°84 is an immersive summer experience meant to introduce pre-college students to the rich world of architecture, interiors, and product design. Classes are modeled after the College of Design’s undergraduate curriculum and taught by experienced faculty, giving students the opportunity to experience life as a college-level Design student. Emphasis is on thinking through making, and students will have the opportunity to use cutting-edge tools of digital fabrication, immerse themselves in a hands-on design approach, and to meet other students from diverse backgrounds.
Students will need to submit a short application, including a statement of intent and a creative sample. Application review will begin March 1. Students will be notified of acceptance shortly after.
