Interior Designer

We are seeking to expand our team with the addition of a full-time interior designer. We are looking for someone who is confident, creative, attentive to details, and team-oriented. The candidate will work primarily with members of our sales and project management teams, as well as directly with our clients, and should have the desire to work on a variety of projects.

OstermanCron is located in Blue Ash, OH (Cincinnati) and has recently expanded to Louisville, KY. We are currently seeking candidates in the Cincinnati area.

Experience Level:

All experience levels will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with 3-5+ years of relevant experience or previous furniture dealership experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Capable of quickly learning new Software Programs
• Computer-Aided Rendering
• Space Planning
• Furniture Specification
• Knowledge of commercial finishes
• Strong skills in verbal, written, and visual communication
• Effective organization skills
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize
• Good time management
• Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively with others, inside and outside of our organization
• Working knowledge of building codes

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in CET
• NCIDQ Certification, or intent to achieve
