We are seeking to expand our team with the addition of a full-time or part-time Interior Design Intern. We are looking for someone who is confident, creative, attentive to details, and team oriented.
We understand that the best way to gain experience, is to be given opportunities that provide experience with real-life scenarios. Therefore, our interns work closely with our designers on actual projects. While the candidate will work primarily with members of our design team they may also work with sales and project management teams. Candidates should have the desire to work on a variety of projects.
OstermanCron is a recognized leader in re-energizing workspaces, located in Blue Ash, OH (Cincinnati) and has recently expanded to Louisville, KY. We are currently seeking candidates in the Cincinnati area for our internship position.
Experience Level:
All experience levels will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with 2+ years in a CIDA accredited Interior Design program.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Currently enrolled in a CIDA accredited Interior Design Program
• Capable of quickly learning new Software Programs
• Space Planning
• Furniture Specification
• Computer-Aided Rendering, preferred
• Basic knowledge of commercial finishes
• Strong skills in verbal, written, and visual communication
• Effective organization skills
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize
