SOA Professor Brent Sturlaugson edited and introduced a new essay forum in the Critical Geographies in Action section of Society & Space, an international, interdisciplinary scholarly and political project. “Critical Spatial Practice” looks at climate change, gentrification, and critical spatial practice, exploring the intersections of architecture and geography, theory and practice.
Through both a peer-reviewed journal and its editor-reviewed companion website, Society & Space publishes articles, essays, interviews, forums, and book reviews that examine social struggles over access to and control of space, place, territory, region, and resources.
