Liz Swanson, an associate professor in the School of Architecture, will attend this year’s Kentucky Book Festival in celebration of her new book, Wondrous Things. A full-color children’s picture book on one side and an interactive coloring book on the other, Wondrous Things has a simple message: we all have gifts to share with the world, and there’s room for each of us to express ourselves.
The Kentucky Book Festival will take place Nov. 10-16 at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. She will be on hand to sign copies of her book on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Swanson will also be featured at a family-friendly kickoff event for the Book Festival on Nov. 10 from 1-4 p.m. at ArtsPlace in downtown Lexington, which will include art workshops, activities with Newport Aquarium staff, and more.
