Clyde Carpenter, a professor in the School of Architecture and the Department of Historic Preservation, is featured in the Winter 2019 issue of Preservation Matters, the publication by the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation. The article offers an inside look into Carpenter’s home, an amazing adaptive reuse building in downtown Lexington, Ky. His efforts led the Trust to create the Clyde Carpenter Award for Adaptive Re-use, which they have awarded since 2004.
