Post-Graduate Fellowship in Graphic Design
The College of Design invites applications for a Post Graduate Fellowship in Graphic Design. The position is initially for 12 months, with a possibility of renewal for up to 24 months, depending upon funding availability. The employment start date for the position is negotiable, but must be no later than August 1, 2017. With a strong investment in its branding and image, the Post Graduate Fellow will support the College’s marketing, communications and curatorial initiatives while advancing his/her career in the design field. This position requires consistent messaging and branding through the development of various forms of digital and print graphic design materials as well as exhibition curation and installation. The ideal candidate will creatively design print materials, web content, social media submissions, images and other graphics following established University and College graphic standards. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines. The Post-Graduate Fellow will report to the Dean, and will work fulltime in the College, coordinating closely with the College of Design Director of Communications, the College’s Media Committee, and various constituents in the college. The Fellow will also develop and teach for-credit and non-credit coursework, such as workshops or classes, for the College of Design. Fellows are eligible for certain University benefits, including health insurance, sick leave and 15 days paid vacation.
