Ebrahim Poustinchi – architect, researcher and art director – has completed his post-graduate studies under Greg Lynn at UCLA’s SUPRASTUDIO. He has previously taught at Washington State University as well as UCLA. During his professional research and studies, he has been affiliated with a variety of academic and professional industries, including the Bot and Doll, Cirque Du Soleil, the IDEAS robotics lab at UCLA, the 5D Institute at the USC’s School of Cinematic Art, Washington State University and the Salk Institute Center for Neurobiology of Vision.
Poustinchi’s robotic architectural designs and graphical works have been disseminated worldwide in various galleries, exhibitions, installations and websites. He has participated in more than 30 national and international design exhibitions in California, Michigan, Washington, Slovakia, Germany, Russia and Iran. In 2012, he received the Iranian National Award as the country’s “Best Graphic Designer Under 25 Years Old.”
