Mark O’Bryan is an architect and the associate professor at the University of Kentucky College of Design. He studied art and architecture at Morehead State University, the University of Kentucky, Cornell University and at the American Academy in Rome. He has won several awards, including the AIA Henry James Medal, the S.O.M. Traveling Fellowship and Bearings 10 Best Faculty in America Prize. He started The Design Studio LLC in 1997 with his interior designer wife Mary Lee O’Bryan IIDA. Their office specializes in interior architecture, residential and liturgical furnishings. He co-authored with Melody Farris-Jackson an essay published in Et in Suburbia Ego: José Oubrerie's Miller House.
