Eric Nay

Tenured Associate Professor of Architecture and Design History and Theory & researcher / PhD Candidate

Eric Nay is an associate professor in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at OCAD University in Toronto and has practiced architecture in New York City, Chicago and California, including working in the Chicago office of SOM. His academic background includes work in art, architecture, design, education, the humanities, law and the social sciences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Kentucky in 1990, his master’s in architecture from Cornell in 1996, was a postgraduate scholar in law at Hamline University from 1995-1996, and is currently completing a Ph.D. at the University of Toronto in sociology and education (2018 expected).
